Vitalija is a postdoc researcher at Aalto and Tampere Universities, Finland. She holds a doctor’s degree in Real Estate Economics, specializing in real estate and workplace management. Her doctoral research and dissertation evolved around workplace change and new ‘Workplace-as-a-Service’ model.

Her interests and expertise lies in the topics of servitization, sharing economy, digital service development and wellbeing in the built environment.

Sander is Partner within the KPMG Advisory practice in the Netherlands with focus on Financial Services and Real Estate. He is passionate about supporting clients with their Innovation and Digital strategy and execution. In addition, Sander is a seasoned consultant with years of experience in strategy development and execution, risk and compliance advisory and IT advisory. He is a natural communicator with strong conceptual and analytical skills and balance between fact finding and soft skills. He is author of e.g. the KPMG Real Estate innovation overview and several other KPMG publications.

Mike inspires industry professionals with his focus on shared human experiences and workplace connections at IFMA, CoreNet and other industry gatherings.

After more than a decade managing national accounts at a Fortune 500 communications company, Mike founded his DC-based marketing firm “Kayrell Solutions” in 2003 to bring both traditional and new media solutions to the marketplace. In 2015, fueled by a desire to promote workplace innovation, Mike launched Kayrell Connections to uplift the facility management community by encouraging professionals to “Be an FM innovator!®”

Webinar 9: Adam Malik (Head of Business Development Europe at Equiem)

As Equiem’s Head of Business Development for Europe, Adam has been integral to growing the firm’s brand and business in the region, helping drive the roll-out of Equiem’s technology and services across more than 11 million sq ft in the UK and Ireland since joining in 2018.

Adam started his career in real estate with Berlin Capital (now part of JLL), a boutique advisory and brokerage, providing access to investment opportunities across residential and commercial assets and working with listed property funds to help raise and invest their equity.

Following this, he spent 10 years at Investis, a leading digital communications company with a strong focus on real estate, spearheading their expansion into Europe, Russia and The Middle East.

Adam believes that Equiem is the amalgamation of his two passions; real estate and technology.
